Getting started with My UNA modules

My UNA World publishes tools for UNA community owners. Most of the Doctor, backup and finance tools run in UNA Studio for administrators. Tickets provides a support workflow for visitors, members and staff. Albums LightGallery changes the album viewer.

Choose the right tool

Install a new module

  1. Record your UNA version and confirm the module's declared compatibility and dependencies.
  2. Create and verify a current database and file backup.
  3. Obtain the supplied installable module ZIP. A media pack, GitHub source archive or updater ZIP is a different artifact.
  4. Verify its supplied checksum. On macOS use shasum -a 256 package.zip; on Linux use sha256sum package.zip. Compare the result with the checksum for that exact package.
  5. Upload through the UNA Studio Apps workflow. If instructed to stage files manually, use the exact module path in its guide, without an extra nested folder.
  6. Open Studio → Apps → Downloaded, install, and enable the module as required.
  7. Open its Studio tile/settings and complete the checks in its guide.

Update an existing installation

Keep a working module installed. Use the native updater for your installed version and follow every required step in the update chain. Do not edit sys_modules.version to simulate an update. Keep your backup until the public site, Studio and module checks pass.

Features differ by package version. A development guide or newer source tree does not prove that a Marketplace release or your installation contains that feature.
